Ever join a server with amazing voice quality? This should get your server sounding crystal clear.

The first line we will have to do is change the voice codec

sv_voicecodec "voice_speex"

Once you have done that line, we will move on to the next and, LAST step (yes it is that short).

Voice Quality; Now this is the last step, and once you've entered the line below, you should hear others clearly.

sv_voicequality "5"

Config

Now to keep the wonderful voice quality, you will need to add the two lines in your server.cfg.

sv_voicecodec "voice_speex"
sv_voicequality "5"

ALSO NOTE: hearing demo ingame

If you are trying to view a demo that has ingame talk & you would like to understand it, do the followoing;

Create a NEW LAN game & then insert these two lines in console; or insert into your config & load.
